On Saturday Pack 97 visited Joslyn Art Museum where we saw all the hard work that goes into creating pop up books. Click here to see more about the exhibit. We also had the opportunity to try our hands at creating pop ups of our own. It's definatley not as easy as one may think. We all had a good time. Don't forget about the up coming community service project. Check the calander for more information.

Art Month

December third was another fun filled pack meeting. We began by reviewing the Boy Scout Oath. Which many of the boys were able to say. Way to go Pack 97!
We then created ornaments to take home and decorate our trees. The wolf scouts made wolf ornaments and the tiger scouts made tiger ornaments. Check out the slide show below to see how awesome they all look.

We have two events planned for the month of December. The first is a field trip to the Joslyn Art Museum. The main exhibit at this time is Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart. He creates pop up books. You can find out more here. We hope to see everyone at the Joslyn Art Museum on Saturday December 12. We will meet just inside the main entrance at 10:30 and plan to tour for a hour.
We will also be doing a community service activity by helping pack grocery bags of food for those in need at the church. This will be a good way to help those in our community.
